Disruption to train services to Oxford

Summary of the train disruption
Travel to and from London from Saturday 7 to Sunday 15 July, on Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 July, and on Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 July
The line is closed to and from Oxford, there are two options:- Travel from London Paddington to Oxford is possible but there will be a replacement bus service for part of the journey which means total travel time will be at least 75 minutes. If pre-booking tickets you should still book to Oxford for the replacement bus to be included as part of your journey. Keble College is then a 20 minute walk or short taxi ride from Oxford station.
- Travel from London Marylebone to Oxford Parkway – travel time is 60 minutes. From Oxford Parkway, take Park & Ride Bus 500 to Oxford (departs every 15 minutes, last bus is at 1900) and get off at the Keble Road stop from where it is a 2 minute walk to Keble College. A single journey costs £1.80.
Travel to and from London from Monday 16 to Friday 20 July
- The line is partially open to Oxford so there will be a reduced service from London Paddington (one per hour), other trains from London Paddington will have a replacement bus service for part of the journey.
- You could also consider travelling to Oxford Parkway from London Marylebone, and following bus directions as above.
Travel to and from Oxford from other locations in UK from Saturday 7 to Sunday 22 July and on Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 July
- There will be a replacement bus service for the last part of the journey to Oxford on other routes so journeys will take longer than normal. Please use http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ to check your route before travelling.
