Use the Online Travel Information System. The nearest bus station on Campus is "Universität Mensa".

Accommodation

The free shared rooms are located at the Landessportschule (Regional Sports School), Hermann-Neuberger-Sportschule 4, 66123 Saarbrücken, Germany. The primary purpose of the facility is a training place for top athletes, including German Olympic teams.

Directions

A map can be found here. The accommodation is in the light blue buildings (4), where it says "Unterkunftshäuser." The bus stop is at the top of the map under the yellow box. The name of the bus stop is "Landessportschule."

Bus lines between Landessportschule and the city: 101, 102, 109, 124.

A single trip on the bus is 2.60 EUR to be paid to the driver. A one-week ticket (Wochenkarte) is 19.30 EUR. It can be bought at machines at the railway station. There is an information desk for help.

Careful: Weekly tickets start and end on Mondays (but can be bought in advance by explicitly selecting the date).

Participants will be picked up from outside the sports school on Monday morning at 7:30. It is a 15 min walk . A general map of the campus can be found here. The sports school is in the lower left corner, while the MPI Informatics is E1 4. The lectures will be in E1 5.
